Team Member
Think about: This task and today
Focus area: Task.
Influence: Focus on doing the task at hand as well as possible
Team Leader
Think about: Today and next week
Focus area: Operational and problem solving
Influence: Ensuring the team functions well and is able to deliver planned and or expected work next week
Manager
Think about: Next month
Focus area: Operational and improvement
Influence: Any change made is unlikely to effect this month but should improve next month
Senior Manager
Think about: Next quarter
Focus area: Strategic
Influence: To prepare for and improve next quarters performance
Director
Think about: Next year
Focus area: Strategic
Influence: Organisational, system, and market changes to prepare for the future.
Executive
Think about: Three years time
Focus area: Strategic
Influence: Providing the long term vision, direction and guidance for the business as a whole.
